# Cedar discount policy

## Scope

These rules apply only to new annual Cedar subscriptions in this exercise.
They do not define renewal pricing, refunds, taxes or currency conversion.

## Approval thresholds

- A discount of 10% or less requires the sales lead's approval.
- A discount above 10% requires both sales lead and finance approval.
- A request is not approved merely because it has been sent to an approver.

## Quote validity

A commercial quote is valid for 14 calendar days from its issue date.
An expired quote needs a new review before it can be sent again.
