No. The 14-day trial starts when you sign up and needs no card. You choose a plan only if you want to keep going.
Each document you upload, such as a PDF, Word file, Excel workbook, PowerPoint deck or Markdown file, counts as one file, however long it is. Questions never count toward your limit. Personal holds about 200 files and Team about 1,000.
Your library stays intact. Uploading and asking pause until you choose a plan, and you can still see and delete your files.
Team has a minimum of 3 seats, which is $45 per month or $450 per year. Personal is for one person.
